These bird brushes were taken from some of our recent photographs. While out for a drive, we spotted a flock of hundreds of birds in flight. The wind would set them adrift, then they would settle again, en masse, on the branches of an oak tree. The wind would pick up and they would soar, encircling the tree, and finally land. The mass movement continued for some time, allowing us to capture some stills of the episode. The birds resembled a hive of bees, only on a much larger scale.
