Vector Pattern Brushes: Abstract

I can’t stop playing with these Illustrator pattern brushes; they have an almost organic quality to them, in that they actually take on new forms and shapes as you alter the size and other aspects. You can use vector pattern brushes in almost any way imaginable since they’re brushes–just grab your brush tool or use the shape tool and apply a stroke–voila! You’ve got one incredible design.

If you use the pattern brushes in conjunction with the circle tool, you can layer designs on top of each other to create really unique, intricate patterns. Vector flowers become a snap. Just play around with them a bit. You’ll be hooked!

This set includes 12 vector pattern brushes for Illustrator. **When you unzip and open the file, it will look blank because Illustrator recognizes it as a brush file, not a regular vector file. Look in your brushes panel–all the vector pattern brushes will be there.**
