TGIF! Hope it’s a gorgeous spring day for you all, wherever you are! The sun has finally graced us with its presence after a long winter of hiding under dense clouds, so all is well and good with the world again. And in the spirit of spring and fun Fridays, we’ve got a great set of five rust/grunge textures to give away! Included in the set are three rust textures, an awesome image of rusty pipes, and a close-up wood grain texture because we all know that everyone needs a little wood now and again. Images are 2500 pixels in width, making them great for print and web work.

Today’s design freebie is one of our great Photoshop textures, specifically a grunge rust image full of blacks, browns, and silver hues. The image is a high resolution texture at 2500 pixels in width and would work perfectly as part of a blended background or on its own.

This rust Photoshop texture was taken from the side of an oil barrel in Western Kansas. It features grays, whites, and black rust elements. This rust texture would look great on its own or incorporated into a background as a blending layer. The hi-res texture image is 2700 pixels in width.

Photoshop Textures: Grunge

Not your typical Photoshop texture, this hi-res concrete grunge image would work great on its own as a background or integrated as a layer using blending options to create a dark background effect. Hues of rust, gray, and black are evident throughout the image, and the cracked concrete surface plus brown watermarks make this a great candidate for any Photoshop texture. The image is 1.35 MB at 2700 x 1738 pixels, giving you ample space to work with.
