For today’s design freebie, we’re giving away an original free desktop wallpaper. Everyone needs some cute wallpapers every once in a while to boost spirits, right? This free desktop wallpaper is entitled “When We Were Young and Thought We Were Grown.” I tried to capture the moment when playing pretend and teddies became passe, obsolete, and soooo not cool. When you voluntarily wanted to get older. I doubt that many of us want that anymore.

It’s a photo manipulation, all done in Photoshop using our very own texture backgrounds, lighting effects, lens and gaussian blurs, and a little imagination.
