This philosophy underlies the concept and design of Ars Grafik.
Whether your a seasoned graphic designer, a part time freelancer, a weekend geek-warrior, small business person in all your many hats, or just on the hunt for cool stuff, Ars Grafik was designed with you in mind. Our vision for this site sprung from years of freelancing, always desperate for high quality graphic media on the cheap. We longed for a place where hi-res texture images and trendy Photoshop brushes could be found alongside fonts, vector art, and free icons.
Yes, there are lots of marketplaces out there where this media is available. But let’s be honest, most of us don’t have fancy offices, hip titles, or suave staff. In fact, we most often don’t have the flexibility in our budgets to buy new media for each project. That’s where Ars Grafik fits into the equation. Here you will find all the graphic design goodies that you could possibly desire–and they’re free. If you like what you find, you might consider donating to the effort–you could shoot us an email about some cool content you would like to make available through Ars Grafik, or just drop a couple bucks in the tip jar.
